Business Model Canvas
Your idea,
one page,
nine blocks.
I needed a way to think through business ideas without drowning in docs. So I built a canvas that saves itself, shares via URL, and gets out of your way.
blocks
One canvas
The story
Business plans shouldn't live in Google Docs
Every time I had a new idea, I'd open a blank document and start writing. Paragraphs about the market, the product, the revenue model. After a few pages, everything blurred together. I couldn't see the shape of the business anymore.
The Business Model Canvas framework fixes that. It forces you into nine specific questions - who are your customers, what are you offering them, how does money flow. But every tool I found was either bloated, required an account, or didn't let me share my work easily.
So I built this. A simple canvas that auto-saves to your browser, compresses into a shareable URL, and exports to plain text. No accounts, no servers, no friction.
The problem
Ideas without structure stay ideas
Without a canvas
- ·Notes scattered across apps, docs, and napkins - no single place to see the whole picture
- ·Revenue model, customer segments, and cost structure all mixed into one long paragraph
- ·Sharing your idea with a co-founder means sending a messy document and hoping they read it
- ·Blind spots go unnoticed because there's no framework prompting you to think through each part
With the canvas
- +Nine clear sections force you to think through every part of the business - partners, channels, costs, revenue
- +Guiding questions in each section help you get started even when you're not sure what to write
- +Share your canvas instantly via a compressed URL - one click, no file attachments
- +Everything auto-saves to your browser. Close the tab, come back tomorrow, it's all there
What you get
Three things that actually matter
Instant structure
Nine canvas sections with guiding questions so you never stare at a blank page. Each section has prompts that help you think through the right questions.
Auto-save and share
Your data saves to your browser automatically. When you're ready, compress your entire canvas into a single shareable URL that anyone can open.
Export and import
Download your canvas as a plain text file. Import it back anytime. Start from a built-in template with guiding questions to get moving fast.
How it works
Open, fill, share
Start fresh or import
Open the canvas and start typing into any of the nine sections. Or import an existing canvas from a text file to pick up where you left off.
Think through each block
Guiding questions prompt you in every section. Organize ideas with sub-items for deeper structure. Everything saves automatically as you type.
Share or download
Copy a compressed shareable link for your co-founders, mentors, or investors. Or download the canvas as a plain text file for your records.

Guiding questions
Each section comes with prompts like "Who are your key partners?" and "What are your main revenue streams?" so you're never starting from zero.
Compressed sharing
Your entire canvas gets compressed into a URL. Send it to anyone - they'll see your exact canvas, no account required.
Dark mode
Toggle between light and dark themes. Late-night strategy sessions are easier on the eyes.
Nested items
Organize ideas with up to three levels of depth. Group related items under a parent for cleaner structure.
Compact view
Switch between full and compact layouts. See more of your canvas at once when you need the big picture.
Plain text export
Download as a .txt file with clean section headers. Import it back anytime, or paste it into any document.

Questions
Things people ask
Is my data safe?
Everything is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is sent to a server. Your canvas never leaves your device unless you share it via URL.
How does sharing work?
When you click Share, your canvas data gets compressed and encoded into the URL. Anyone who opens that link sees your exact canvas. No accounts, no database.
What format does export use?
Plain text (.txt) with section headers and bullet items. You can import it back into the tool anytime, or paste it into any document.
Can I organize items hierarchically?
Yes. The canvas supports three levels of nesting - top-level items, sub-items, and sub-sub-items - so you can group related ideas together.
Your idea is ready.
Give it structure.
Nine sections, zero friction. Open the canvas and start mapping your business model in seconds.
